Many older videos have messed up audio synchronization, have ads, or wrong Aspect Ratio. Wannabe encoders don't know what they are doing and mess up the rip, and don't bother to fix it and re-encode again.

If you want permanent fix, and if the audio is just shifted as in plays too early, or too late, then the fix for that is fairly easy. You just have to find the shift in ms (miliseconds) and apply that in avidemux. With that, you don't have to re-encode anything (and wait hours for the result) it literally takes seconds. Just find the shift in ms with media player classic or other players by shifting audio (numpad - or +) check the beginning and the end of the video. If it's good at the beginning and desync'd at the end, or vice versa, then you have a bigger problem...

The problem is if the audio is "stretched" or squished, as in played at a higher or lower "fps" then the video. You could demux audio and use something like audacity, or try using mkvtoolnix, i did it couple of times but it's problematic (though it's not recommended to fix audio problems with mkvtoolnix)

To attach images to your posts, you need to use [b]image hosting service[/b].
like: 
imgur.com
imgspice.com
pixhost.to
imagetwist.com
http://www.imagebam.com/ (my favorite)

Upload your file to that service and then in your forum post, paste a "BB code" created by the image hoster. Here on JavLib BB code must be typed in lower case letters otherwise it will not work.

 This will place a miniature or "thumbnail" in your post, and after clicking on it you will be redirected to the full image.
Placing a hotlink (a direct address to the full-size image) is not always allowed, and if hoster doesn't allow that they can block that hotlinked image.

Oh, just make sure you don't forget to choose the type of your image when uploading "adult" things :P

If you already have a link to the image you found on the web.
use the BB-code [code][color=#cc6600][[b]img[/b]][/color][color=#000099]www.server.com/image.jpg[/color][color=#cc6600][/[b]img[/b]][/color][/code] <- Remember, lowercase letters "[b]img[/b]" or it won't work.
This bb-code is showing the full-size image. If it's something small like the example above, it's OK.
You can also use the button "Add image" it will place the bb-code for you

As for viewing images, i strongly advice everyone to install [b]Tampermonkey[/b] add-on and then [b]"HandyImage"[/b] UserScript.
This script removes everything from the site (Ads and other crap) and shows only the image. Very handy!
and speeds up the process of showing you the image.

Squirts from real squirting girls should almost always be real. There is enough well known names in the industry, so there is no point in faking it.
Unless it's a girl who can't squirt and producers want her to do it; but forcing someone to pee during sex is difficult, and it doesn't look convincing. I'm not entirely sure about women, but generally speaking, men can't pee with a hard-on. It's definitely difficult for women.

There might be some faking, but the only way to "fake" and make it real at the same time is to pee.
And since squirts comes from urethra (pee-hole) you can only guess if it's squirt or pee. 
I think most of the squirts are real. You can spot some forced ones, where girls seems to be just peeing.

Besides, it is said, that squirt consist urine, among other things so...

Girls who are preparing for squirt oriented movies, drink a lot of water before shooting a scene. It makes squirt look water-clear, and after all you need water to produce lot's of fluid. 
Even Hotaru Akane (Japanese Squirt Queen) admitted that, and I don't take that as a cheating. It's natural...

You can easily spot a totally fake squirts in US porn. They put some water inside a vagina(!) and in post production they cut a video just so you can only see a fluid coming out. That is so fake and it's done in squirt oriented movies. 
I mean, just hire girls who can squirt, that's it. Why bother with girls who can't do it?!

Can i ask for an option "Don't want it" next to already existing
 "Want this" | "Watched it" | "Own it"
This option would allow users to stop showing them movies they don't want to see.
Just like it functions in standard movie databases.

Many times i see titles which i already checked and i know that i don't want them, for various reasons. But there is so many of them i simply can't remember all of those titles. 
I would like them to be not shown in "new releases", "new comments" and searches, but there should be an option to "include not wanted titles", just like there is an option for showing videos with comments or everything. (just in case)

For example i like Uta Kohaku, and just recently showed up DASD-175.
But it features vomiting which i'm not fond of.
The title says "Amber Gero Song SEX" which doesn't tell me a thing. The cover is very generic - just an actress.
So i checked this title, and i know i don't want to see it, and i would like it to be not shown in searches and other sections on JavLib.

Can i ask for such option?

You treat it as spamming, i treat good thumbs as helpful addition to the database where you can instantly check the video if it's interesting. Sometimes i look for titles from a certain label, or with a certain actress. 
Covers, especially nowadays(!) are really misleading. Producers decided to use photoshop in their covers - adding things, or include photos taken with a camera, where such things can not be seen on the video; or they just simply use some good shots and treat them as a "main thing", when it's actually just a minority in the video.
Good, long thumbs preview is appreciated by me.
And let me say one thing again, posting only thumbs where thumbs are already there is not that helpful either, and i know it might be irritating, so i don't do it.
I vote "yes" for good thumbs if there were none before, not for thumbs in general. This way people shouldn't be spamming with screenshots, when there is a shitload of them already. 
Some users are lazy or bald enough to download thumbs from other users and repost them to a different hosting site.
Right now i have to open 2-4 thumbs from different users to know if the video is interesting. Why? Because most of them are really small, the step between screens is so big you simply don't know what you can expect from the video, and some thumbs are just copies from one user rehosted to another image hosting site. 
By my standards these are not good thumbs, that's why i have to check it multiple times. 
But i can't force people to make good thumbs, just like you can't force people to stop posting promo screens. They will gonna have to ban those few people. It all depends on how persistent they are: will they create new accounts?

When the pool will finally end, i hope there will be a clear statement as to what images are (not) allowed. 
I really want to know whether people are allowed to add good thumbs to help one half of the users (and/or to annoy the other half) :P

I voted NO,
but i would vote "Yes" on good thumbnails which are really helpful to me.
Good thumbs means they are big, not some itsy-bitsy small pictures where you can't see a shit. I would say around 1920 which is a standard now, i think.
Good thumbs means - a step between screens must be small enough to show what is the video about, i would say no greater than 2 minutes.
But it all depends...
Good thumbs means- no stupid image hosting sites like imgclick, or imgbb.net those are not working with adblocks or scripts like "Handy image" for greasmonkey. Really helpfull script when viewing pictures on almost all image hosting sites.

"Yes" for thumbs from actual video, "No" for promo/preview/trailer thumbs, as those are not helpful at all.

I'm all against preview thumbs, especially those ripped from paid sites, or made out of trailers.

And for those not happy about thumbs who say "you can check screens on another site".
I don't know what was the real intention behind this site, but i treat it as a database for JAV + links. I'm not treating it as a warez site only.
If you can check screens on other sites, than you can check for link on other sites too. Don't be a kid and use a google if good thumbs are "offending" you.
There are ways to download completely free from premium hosting sites, even from paid sites like AMP etc.
Heck, there is still a stupidly easy way to download from subyshare mp4 and flv files, even wmv files. Not only free but fast too.
But there will always be some people not happy about something.

Good input on database is always appreciated. Bad input - like screens copied from paid sites - not.

This whole problem emerged when some users started to spam the database with promo screens/thumbs from paid sites. I have't seen anyone like me to post thumbs from the actual "released" video.
I don't treat it  as spamming when you post thumbs from actual videos, to show others whats the video about ("is it interesting?") from time to time, where there are no thumbs at all.

That's my view on this.

I kind of understand you.
But, every time i check some video i always check thumbs to see if it's really interesting. If there are links, but no screens i don't know if it is what i'm expecting it to be.
So i really need thumbs.

I do thumbnails, but only from videos i have (no promo screens/thumbs from websites!).
Only if there are NO screenshots on javlib.
I don't do thousands of meaningless posts.
I don't advertise nor do i link to different sites.
And, seriously i spend too much time on this (checking if thumbs contain interesting scenes... like squirts etc.)

I create them in a way to be informative, and easy to see. Not some shitty 1024x and 8 columns wide.
That's why they are long and wide, so that people can see and make their decision whether the video is interesting or not.
Many times you can see a really tempting cover, but the video itself is not that great.
